ABOUT ME

I spent my formative years growing up in Mentor, Ohio while writing plays with my sister for the sympathetic audience of our parents. However, I found my love for theater in college while attending classes at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL.  There I learned the craft of live theater in our university theater club as well as at various community theater groups. Upon moving to Wichita, KS, I began writing for my church where I became Drama Director. My first collection of scripts Theatre for Church: Vol 1 was published in February of 2012.

Wichita, Kansas is home, made with my beautiful wife and two young sons. I work in advanced analytics in marketing at an aircraft manufacturer in town, play guitar in a big band as well as for my church worship team, and write full length plays for secular theatre. My first play A Paper Tiger in the Rain was produced by Northern Michigan University as part of the Panowski Playwriting Competition. Other plays include Hotel JerusalemPortrait of a Con Artist, and the one-act Watching You Die.
My work is published by Skitguys.com and Heartland Plays, Inc, I am the founder of the Wichita Playwright Collective, a support group for local playwrights, and I am proud to be a member of the Dramatist's Guild.
